April Finish just in time

I finished stitching my April cottage at about 15 minutes after midnight and would have finished earlier if I had not had to frog one of my flowers.
I have even pressed my piece and I must say it does make the stitches pop out better even the white looks better.

All I altered was my clouds I made them round and hopefully fluffier.

January Cottage Finished

Hi all,

I just finished January!  It turned out much better than I thought it was going to on this Rainbow Sparkles fabric.  I was afraid the snow flakes/white would disappear but you can see them!

I have moved the fabric over to the left and am starting on February today!

Hello,

I am very happy I could finally join this SAL, thank you, Vonna, for opening Part Two!:-)))

I am Expell-HUN from Hungary, Eastern Europe, I have started stitching the cottages as soon as I got the invitation (I had the stash as I planned to join Part One, but I put it away when I learnt I was too late...:-).  I chose a 36 ct Zweigart linen to stitch all 12 cottages on one piece, so far I finished the first 3 months, here they are:

Some closer shots:

March was my favourite, I loved the design and the colours, though I changed some to a more decent shade to my taste, I used Nina's Threads: Butter Squash, Spring Grass and the windows are Valdani's Chocolate Brownie.

February....ah, this cottage was so hard to stitch, I could not help it.  24 hearts on such a small chart, too much.  And all in pink-pink.... If you are not this type of girl, you will not be close friends with this February Cottage.  I had changed all the colours - again to a more decent look, except the white DMC, I used Nina's Threads: Fuchsia, Peony, Ashbury, Nutmeg and Pine.

All in all it is a nice, easy to stitch piece and I cannot wait to see the ready, framed design on my wall.   I hope I can stitch the current months now on, I love April and May!

Happy Easter!

Cottage Update

I have finally framed the January cottage and will be able to pop in and out the different months. I really do like the way the frame turned out.
I have also just finished stitching the March cottage. I love green so for right now March is my favorite cottage. I might change as I finish April cottage - we'll see. I have had so much fun stitching these cute little cottages.  Now to get started on April.  Lana

My Start

Hi all,

I have just started my cottages.  I am doing them all on one piece of 28 count Rainbow Sparkle fabric.

I will be working on this most of today too!
